Supervising the implementation of R&D innovations at a manufacturing plant
An EU co-funded investment project requires that the innovations described in an R&D report are actually implemented and the technical indicators achieved. For a manufacturer of furniture finishing components and wall panels we supervised the implementation of such a technology.
The task
RADON was carrying out an investment project implementing R&D results: a technology for producing varied 3D decorative structures on furniture finishing components and wall panels. A condition for settling the grant was implementing the innovations described in the R&D report and demonstrating the technical indicators.
Our role was to supervise that implementation, that is, to check that what the report described works on the production line and delivers the expected parameters.
Scope of supervision
- agreeing detailed technical solutions,
- organising the implementation and supervising deadlines and quality of work,
- taking part in trials and tests,
- verifying the product and process innovations and the project indicators.
What it shows
We can enter a manufacturing plant as independent technical supervision and assess whether the implementation matches what the research project promised. This is a service for companies running co-funded projects where results must be confirmed by measurement, not by declaration.
