SBEES – expert in an international electromobility project
We are an expert in SBEES (South Baltic Digital Electromobility Enabling Services), supporting Gdańsk University of Technology with analyses, digital tools and deployment scenarios for electromobility in the South Baltic region.

What SBEES is
SBEES is an Interreg South Baltic project on digital services that support electromobility in the region: planning charging infrastructure, forecasting demand, grid integration and energy storage.
The Polish partner is Gdańsk University of Technology. Rendben was selected in a tender as an expert complementing the team's competences.
Our role
We work across all of the project's work packages:
- data model and specification: information requirements for electromobility, database structures for mapping and forecasting tools, data quality criteria,
- tools: a prototype tool for mapping vehicles, charging points and grid constraints, data acquisition and validation,
- analyses: a method for calculating energy storage needs, and assumptions and tests of a vehicle-to-grid (V2G) model,
- tests and scenarios: testing the tools in a Polish reference area and a deployment scenario for electric tractor units powered by renewable energy,
- dissemination: reports in Polish and English, information materials and cross-border workshops.
Materials and tools developed in the project are shared under the consortium's open source policy.
What it shows
Being an expert is a different position from being a contractor: our knowledge is bought as a substantive contribution, not as a service. We work with the university and foreign partners on tools meant to genuinely help plan charging infrastructure in the region.

The SBEES project (South Baltic Digital Electromobility Enabling Services) is co-funded by the European Union under the Interreg South Baltic 2021–2027 programme. Rendben is an expert for Gdańsk University of Technology in the project.
